The Coronado Shores development was initiated in 1969, with construction of its tenth building completed in 1978. The project included building a seawall from large boulders to protect against beach flooding and property damage. Thus, the Coronado Shores were built between 1969 and 1978.

The layout of each building is unique, in addition to the floor plans and the size of the units.  For example, the La Perila Tower (1780 Avenida del Mundo) is the only tower built with 4-bedroom units.  The building map below will give you a good idea of the orientation of each building, and the units within the building.
